Danish education 1

The purpose of Danish Education 1 is to give foreigners basic skills and knowledge in Danish language, culture and social conditions in Denmark.  These skills and knowledge are to be considered a prerequisite so one can manage/cope as a citizen in Denmark, including employing those who are unskilled in the labour market or those who are a home working member of a family.

Danish Education 1 prepares students who only have a small or no school background, and have not learned to read and write in their mother language.  Furthermore, Danish Education 1 addresses those students that have not learned to read and write the Latin alphabet.
